2XO The Innkeeper's Blend is crafted at the Prestige Beverage Group distillery located in Louisville, Kentucky. This small batch of bourbon whiskey is made from a blend of Kentucky straight bourbons with two proprietary mash bills, one high rye (35%) and one low rye (16 to 18%). The whiskey undergoes a unique double barrel aging process, where it is re barreled into new charred oak barrels with both 3 and 4 char levels for enhancing its flavors and complexity. The aging process varies, but the bourbons used typically age for around six years before blending with 52% alcohol by volume (ABV). The Innkeeper's Blend is known for its rich and viscous mouthfeel, starting with caramel sweetness, moving to ripe red fruit, and finishing with a light peppery spice. It pairs exceptionally well with hearty dishes like grilled meats and rich desserts such as chocolate cake. To fully enjoy this whiskey, it is best served neat or with a splash of water to open up its complex flavors.
